The 3 Fates Giclee Print
This variant is currently sold out
This piece is inspired by a photograph by Rudolf Koppitz that I ventured across at the V&A Museum. I was drawn to recreating his image and while working on it, it made me think of the 3 fates from Greek Mythos. The 3 fates were usually old women who were charged with the destinies of all living things. These destinies/lives were represented by a red string and if they had decided your fate were to end they would cut the string. The idea of this image was to depict the 3 fates deciding the fate of the dancer in the foreground.
These are high quality giclee prints on beautiful matte textured Hahnemühle German etching paper.
